Amy Foskett originally from Westbury, Wiltshire. She started training at the Swindon Dance CATs Scheme and went on to train at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London; Leaving with a BA(Hons) in Contemporary Dance. At Laban Amy got to work with Gary Lambert, Richard Alston, Lizzie Kew-Ross and Zoi Dimitriou.
After Laban Amy went into teaching at the New London Performing Arts Centre which is now Amy Foskett Dance's home and where they are Resident Contemporary Company. She runs the NLPAC Contemporary Youth Company. Amy also teaches contemporary weekly for Highgate Ballet School and is a guest teacher for The Place's children and youth classes.
Amy has worked for Monixarts, Creative Dance Collective and Sarah Poekert. She still continues to dance and occasionally dances in her own works. In the last two years Amy has been working more creatively and developing her choreographic style. This year Amy Foskett is apart of Swindon Dance’s Young Professionals Programme and is partnered with Town Hall Arts, Trowbridge.
